Installation
All Waste Maids require an under the sink power socket to power the unit. The S-599 and S-699 will need a fuse spur wall above the the worktop.
But here’s where it gets interesting. Our S-799AS, S-899AS, S-999AS and S-1099AS models are game changers. They come with a built-in countertop air-switch. What does that mean? No more fumbling for a wall switch.
Now, let’s talk options. Got a 1580 or 1680 model? You’re in luck. We’ve got a countertop air switch you can add on.Just head over to our Air Switch page.
Now, for the batch feed models—the 1785BF and 1985BF—these are a different beast. They use the sink stopper to start and stop. Push the stopper in, the unit roars to life. Pull it out, and it stops. No air switch, no wall switch.
Just streamlined efficiency.
In short, whether you’re going for continuous or batch feed, we’ve got solutions that make waste disposal a breeze. It’s all about making your life easier, cleaner, and smarter.
